My version of Fannie Farmers Griddlecakes.
makes about a dozen griddle cakes
1 cup milk
1/4 cup melted butter
2 eggs
1 1/3 cup whole wheat flour
2/3 cup white flour
4 tsp baking powder
4 tsp sugar or honey
1 tsp salt
1. Mix the wet ingredients in a medium bowl.
2. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Pour in the wet ingredients into the dry and mix well.
3. Add more milk if needed.
4. Use a 1/4 cup to plop the batter on to a hot griddle and cook as you would with pancakes.
